We remember and honor the feat of our heroes – all those who stood up to defend Ukraine and gave their lives in this fight for independence.

When I was a kid (yeah, yeah, the good ol’ days) our pets would live like a member of the family until they died. It was just after the war and we had no money for extras. If any of the household, including pets, became ill, we either got through it or we didn’t.

Today's abysmal jobs report is a reminder that tax cuts for corporations and the rich don’t create jobs or grow the economy.

What's required is investment in working people — and better wages.
