I'm sitting in a presentation where someone referenced the quote, "Do one thing every day that scares you," and I'm like, well, I have generalized anxiety disorder so I'm wayyy ahead of you, Eleanor Roosevelt.
"Just self-publish" is not an "easy" solution.
Self-publishing is hard. It requires way more time than I have. For me, the agent and trad/small press model works great.
But again, it ain't one size fits all, folks. You need to find what works for you.

Today's advice: try and choose your rage.
You can't fix everything, and you can't make a difference if you're in flames over everything at once.
Start where you can make a difference. Build a community. Lean on others. Raging alone means you'll burn out entirely.
