One of the DSNY “hot tub” trucks that melt snow is parked outside my office and it’s incredible. They filled the entire block with full of snow; it’s packed from curb to curb, probably 12 feet high? At least? And then it’s scooped into the hot tub and it goes into the sewer!
This is so true! I also love people, like our mayor, who use their microphone to share credit. Like yes, it IS the DSNY who keep our streets plowed and salted and safe in the snow, and thanks for showing us their meticulous preparation! Sanitation rules!
