Iβll never forget how we ended child poverty and then decided that actually child poverty was an acceptable price to pay so that rich people could go skiing in Berne twice a year instead of once

Important context for this heinous treatment: Black women already have a high rate of unnecessary c-sections that put them at risk of greater complication than with vaginal delivery, which is one of many factors contributing to the Black maternal health crisis America faces (transcending SES).
Just so we're all clear, this is a war crime and would be punishable by life or death under U.S. law.
Jews are targeted in shuls & online.
Brown & Black people are abducted and sent to concentration camps.
Muslims are openly targeted by politicians.
Activists & journalists are targeted by the FBI.
Trans & queer people are being outlawed.
We are in this together. This is why solidarity matters.
BREAKING: The Pentagon is sending thousands of Marines to the Middle East. The same strategy used with the first wave of Marines sent to Vietnam.
You can bet your mortgage that Barron Trump isn't in that unit.
Trump is launching a ground invasion to prevent accountability for the Epstein files.
Ossoff: "The WH put out a video depicting this war as a video game. When service members are returning in flag-draped coffins, & even more have lost limbs or suffered brain injuries or are fighting for their lives, this WH treats war like a game. It's a disgrace. And it speaks to a moral rot."
Not everyone needs to own a gun. If you have a bad history with guns or don't feel safe owning a gun, please do not own a gun
If you have ever been curious about gun safety and target shooting, there has never been a better time to look into hands-on training classes not full of chuds (they exist)
Are the second amendment implications the most important or most horrifying things about this verdict? Absolutely not. Still very important
People ask me why I'm a 2A guy. Do I really think firearms could possibly make a difference at a time like this?
Well, MAGA sure seems to think so
Worth adding here that the FBI waited *years* to declare open war on the Black Panther Party, assassinating & incarcerating its leaders en masse. The thing that tipped the balance wasn't the guns, but the free breakfasts, groceries, & clinics that represented a genuine threat to state power.
We warned you Islamophobic policies would eventually affect your rights too.
βCase was seen as major test of the first amendment and whether the US could use broad anti-terrorism statute to prosecute leftwing protestersβ
It is hard to overstate, for non-lawyers, just how milquetoast the ABA is in normal times. Itβs supposed to be boring insurance lawyers leading workshops with boring tax lawyers, trying to drum up business.
A pissed off ABA is like dentists manning the barricades and singing Le Marseillaise.
Americans are dying so that Kushner can make money
This is, to put it mildly, a double standard. This guy was part of a government that encouraged online social media figures to engage in routine harassment of government employees to the point that many were fired or went into hiding. Some of it was done by Elon Musk, this guy's boss.
I think about this a lot.
They blew up USAid and doomed millions to an agonizing death but a video of them being an idiot on camera is causing reputational damage
Wrestling with my demons? Hell, I'm so touch starved right now I'd snuggle with them.

Hi there, egg. Iβve noticed youβre watching βThe Boy Who Would Be Queenβ episode of Fairly Oddparents again. Iβm just gonna go ahead and give you these estradiol pills and Blahaj. See you in 20 years.
I mean, I know of some things out there that are definitely gonna be amazing, but I can't afford the Patreon accounts (at least not until I get a paycheck AT THE START OF JUNE) so what do? *dies*
Ugh! I've read the trans stories I can get my hands on from my favorite authors. I desperately want more new trans content to read but I don't know what's out there that's good! AHHHHHHH!
*runs around in circles screaming*

"Autumn, I want to read your books, but I can't afford any right now."
That's okay! You can request them through your local library. That way, you get to read my books, and I get paid for them. :3
"Say you understand and agree."
Iβm cropping out the personβs name because this isnβt a dunk, but an opportunity to think more deeply about the premise put forth: Hereβs what this person is referring to: The Hays Code didnβt want movies to glamorize crime or βcreate sympathyβ for those who violate the law. Even when the code was in its infancy, people were rolling their eyes. The Nation ran a piece pointing out the obvious issues of equating the idea of the βlawβ (which can be punitive or unfairly applied) with βjustice,β and itβs obvious how quickly this can become a problem for storytelling. The Hays Code was corny and prudish! So I get why a rule ensuring that amoral characters are punished by the end sounds βreally sillyβ and why this person is baffled (annoyed? disgusted?) that anyone would want a return to that. Except, I have a theory! A few theories, actually.
I bring this up because the Hays Code was mentioned in a social media post that caught my attention

Iβ¦ donβt even have words; I canβt believe I made this. Hand drawn without any outlining nor straightedges with #CopicMarkers on 140 pound 18β x 24β Fabriano paper.
I get it's hard for recruiters too, but... when you are apparently a tech recruiter, have EXTREMELY poor communication aside from calling 5-7 times repeatedly and emailing every 10 min, and your company's site is AI generated at least according to the code?
Why should I believe you?
A big part of tax discourse is that normal people would not give a single shit about how much they were paying in taxes if those taxes went to helping people, and that it is extremely obvious that this is not what taxes are actually going toward.
