Yesterday marked the first day in session since our friend Melissa Hortman was taken from us. Our hearts are with her family & our representatives Kotyza-Witthuhn, Falconer, & Cwodzinski who came into a chamber with an empty seat. Her legacy lives on in the lives we lead & the community we build.
Our monthly meeting is TONIGHT! With caucus in the books, shouldn't we have a party to celebrate? Why, yes!
- Connect with local Democrats post caucus
- Learn ways to help
- Bring a snack to share & a drink for yourself
- If you can, bring a shelf-stable food or household item for local mutual aid.
Arthur and Natalie welcome two brand new folks to the protest at 101&7. Join us, every Wed at 4:15-6pm. dfl49.org

An often under-looked way to support Minnesota is to be intentional with what your money supports. This month, support your neighbors by shopping local. #iceout
Thank you to everyone who turned out to caucus last night! There were many more people than anticipated and the energy was phenomenal. Many first timers left as delegates! Thank you for participating in grassroots democracy - see you at the SD49 convention in April!
Precinct Caucus is TONIGHT! Community members elect delegates to the next level of conventions & propose resolutions that help build the DFL platform. This is your chance to influence what the party stands for & who represents us later in the process. Come join us & kick off the 2026 election cycle!
Another way to show support this evening π―οΈ
Our hearts are hurting, again, this morning. For community members in need, resources are available. Weβll continue to work with local and state groups when demanding #iceout

This weekend, please protest peacefully and thoughtfully. Do not engage with counter protestors and do not escalate - that wonβt help your immigrant neighbors.
Have you or your family been negatively affected by ICE? Help Minnesota with its lawsuit to get ICE OUT by sharing your story. Details below.
2/2 ββ¦that they will encounter ICE agents. Patients are coming to us with injuries - both physical and emotional - sustained from interactions with federal officials. We oppose policies and condemn actions that restrict healthcare access and contribute to harm for any and all people in Minnesota.β
1/2 βAs Minnesota physicians, we are committed to the health and wellbeing of everyone in our state, regardless of immigration or citizenship status. People are frightened to leave their homes to buy groceries, go to work, meet basic needs, or access necessary medical care due to concernβ¦β
