And her cries for help often met with cold silence. She puts herself in stasis. A nightly routine to amend the damage done, rebuilding a little at a time. The nightmares continue even in her stasis. A never ending cycle. Above the facility there is always a star lit sky, waiting for her.

These horrors are unfair, unjust, ugly. To give into this darkness is admission of loss. I am not willing to lose this fight. I continue to struggle, tired as I am. My battle is not near done, nor is my journey to become the best version of myself. I want to meet her one day.

After ranking up & showing my knowledge for my martial arts class, it has me thinking about the concept of Yang and Um. I feel and know my body, emotions, mind & spirit are out of balance. Regaining this has proven to be difficult as I keep fighting against the imbalance.

I hadn't yet seen a side by side comparison since losing weight. The bottom pic was taken June 2024 and the top pic was taken today. This is about 118 lbs difference. Lots of contributing factors.
