Trump Administration Opens the Door for ICE to Target Anyone Suspected of Being Trans Under a new rule, the State Department will be able to revoke trans people's visas over "misrepresentation." It'll give ICE grounds to suspect all trans people of being in the US illegally.

ICE agents have now been given the authority to detain trans people and deport permanent residents, international students, H-1B workers, and tourists over their gender markers.

The NYT made a conscious decision to throw trans people under the bus to endear itself to the far right. So far that hasn't worked (MAGA still hates them) but the body count and the number of bills restricting transgender care continue to rise.

Nothing good comes from government making lists like this.

Also, in trans folk who have had certain surgeries, the body no longer produces certain crucial hormones. When those hormones are withheld, that means death.
