We had a waiter at a restaurant with them on. I'm very confident they were never on, but I still felt so uncomfortable that I didn't want to look or talk to him.

They're all about protecting kids unless that kid needs lunch at school, medical care, and other basic quality of life necessities. Politicians are putting so much energy into the age verification restrictions. Imagine if they put that same energy into those other necessities.

My other username at the time was also just a reference to my great grandma. She loved white roses and was very proud of her Irish heritage. The name Irishrose was taken, so I replaced rose with thorns.

-grandmother that I looked up to a ton had also passed during this time period. I grew up eating neapolitan ice cream and ramen at her home. This turned into the name Vintage Neapolitan. It was later shortened to Vee by friends and stuck.
