If your aim is to convince people I would avoid insulting them.
I don’t know. These fears come from a place of people being told Trump can’t do X thing before he just does X thing. They are tired of being told Project 2025 was not a credible plan or that Trump wasn’t serious about foreign invasions.
Acknowledge that before saying why this X thing is different.
I think rather than worrying about trying to tamp down those concerns, it’s more important to channel them into positive action.
ICE forces are meeting active peaceful resistance. People worried about him messing with midterms need to be ready to fight attempts by Trump to mess with them.
Trump doesn’t have legal authority to rename the buildings he did.
