spent the day redoing my little photography/gig diary blog to be a bit more interactive. it's been fun having a little outlet for all my photography stuff and been fun to design it like a gig poster

Fired up my old iPod Touch which is still working despite having not touched it since about 2014. Dream pop jumpscare
frozen berries should be sold individually. give me a tiny lil treat
I played morrowind in the bath but decided to not take a photo of that. Balls out for ALMSIVI
I'm obsessed with shitty 2000s dance-punk; an offshoot of my favorite genre. It's annoying and danceable and reminds me of mainstream rock radio, watching Video Hits and playing FIFA games as a kid. Welcome recs to make this playlist even worse

OpenMW supports Android based handhelds as well I think!
Happy to help. Pretty easy, you chuck the files you want on including mods, install OpenMW and it works like a charm. OpenMW is an open source reimplementation so performance is pretty much a non issue. Been a great timewaster
you're right, i wouldn't want anyone to see harcdore role-playing unless they're into it
morrowind on the bus
Fond memories as a kid of "doing the loop" and getting my parents to go round the whole route once before getting off. They even had a jingle for that
god. LOOK at this amazing flash map. its beautiful
you can still visit the sydney monorail website. unlike the monorail itself, they never took it down for some reason

The last time I saw Stereolab was in Sydney on 9 March 2020. The following day was told to work from home due to the pandemic. Immensely surreal time
such a good feeling when your fav band are returning to australia after six years
starting out a website that collates all the weird links, cool sites and memories of the internet i've saved up over the years - part time capsule, part aggregator, part research. why not, right?

Agree. I found this list from some random guy and I have been going down the rabbit hole. Neocities and other small communities have lots of referral loops, but yeah the spirit of exploration and discovery just isnt there anymore hey

imagining a world where mobile browsers never took off and web design continued to use sprawling exploratory newspaperlike layouts
Hear me out....Faces Off
saw TOPS. they were really good onstage and fun to see an intl band play at an intimate venue like a suburban cafe. cop if you like magdalena bay style sugary pop with a seventies soft rock bent
I think there is heaps going on with indie and alternative gigs domestically but it can be a bit of a proactive task to see what's announced, crawl gig sites and see what festivals or major events might trigger a few sideshows. May-June is a really good time for it
when life gives you nothing, make nothingade

Thanks mate. More just struggling to connect with people, that sort of thing
Mate, I've seen commercial studio porn with hearing aids, eye patches, even stumps. You'll be right
Yeah!! KOD rule and seem to be badly overlooked as a link between late 80s jangle and shoegaze. Feels like they were their own thing and never quite fell into any boxes, which is...a very queer thing to do. Strange Free World is a masterpiece.

Thank you for correcting this. My massive ass being absent from this is a travesty ;)
You're right. It didn't even draw the massive muscles!
The proportions are slightly off actually. In real life my face would be smaller than this
