For decades, anti-registry activists tried to warn people about the dangers of government intrusion. There has been widespread support for criminal registries and multi-agency "compliance checks" and raids.

What we're seeing in Minneapolis right now is the fruit of these programs.

Trump ‘promises’ the checks by mid-2026, because that’s conveniently when SCOTUS may rule that the IEEPA does not authorize the President to impose tariffs. Then, T will blame SCOTUS—and many people will also blame SCOTUS, leading to the judicial branch losing even more credibility.

Fascism is the system’s response to late-stage capitalism. This is capitalism failing. People are setting themselves up to be shocked when fascism accelerates post-Trump. This isn't a problem with a few bad people. This is a problem with a system that enriches the few, at the expense of the many.

Just to clarify, everyone knows the reason for this government shutdown is because Republicans don’t want to release the Epstein Files, right?
