more lightly, the fishing log IS canon for aemilia. she loves to keep a written record of the fish she catches and to talk to locals about angling lore and practiced imprint illustrations of fish for leves and gleaner gigs. although her notes for stethacanthus just read, "intractable shitestain."

aemilia sings a repertoire of bozjan and dalmascan folk songs passed down to her from her late lover, isolde. isolde collected and kept a written record of them, which aemilia inherited after her passing along with isolde's bard soul crystal. both are incredibly precious mementos of a lost love.....
