I understand. Didn’t like him showing up for the SOTU. But I can usually talk to his staff, he votes right almost all the time, travels throughout the district (pretty big area), and has done things to fight this administration (eg. lawsuit to require inspection of detention centers.)

We moved to CO only 4 yrs ago, also from Madison. But my godmother moved to Ft Collins in the 70s, and we traveled out here to hike, camp & backpack every year. Only the pass was not paved & closed in the winter back then.

Typically, good photo. Have been driving up CO 14 to Cameron Pass for decades. My first trip, snowmobiled with my cousins before the road was paved.

In Wisconsin, Badger Bob Johnson was was my exposure to hockey. In the NHL, Bob Probert, Marty McSorley, Dave Schultz were folk heroes. No other professional sport sport could regularly play that type of limited skill player. If I want to be entertained by men’s hockey, I’ll rewatch Slap Shot.

Yeah it’s not just “hokey culture” but there’s the affection for the “goons” ie Bob Probert, Dave Schultz, Marty McSorely…. No other professional sport could afford to regularly play such limited talent thugs. If I want to be entertained by hokey, I’ll just rewatch Slap Shot.

Back from grandparenting our teenage granddaughter in Pasadena CA. (Parents at wedding.) Drove up the coast to visit vineyards in Paso Robles, and hike along the Pacific Ocean. Love everything about California, but always great to get back to the Rockies. Good night from Colorado.
