Lindwyrms in particular exist in the Wilderness, there aren't many (if any) that live in the City States.

- They sleep in a big cuddle pile! - they are highly social and exiled Wyrms rarely last more than a couple years alone - They have a strong sense of community and spirituality. Dragon worship and care for kin is a core value. - They don't really cook food, but they have begun to learn how to preserve food against famine. Smoked meats/fish and salt-cured eggs. - They gain intelligence and minor arcane abilities as they reach 90+ yrs old. Exposure to magic throughout their long lifetime is what transitions them into dragons. A Wyrm large enough, with enough stored magic, finally journeys far away to become a dragon.

- Dragons have little memory of their Wyrm lives or family, but are drawn to lay their eggs where they originally hatched. - Wyrms care for dragon eggs as their own. Dragons are the Mother of all. And are revered as gods. They hatch and raise dragon eggs, which are Wyrms. - They grow continuously throughout their life. Theoretically, a Wyrm with no access to magic would grow and age indefinitely- with no signal to turn into a Dragon, it could live forever.

I have a lot more to write about their culture. Their biology is fairly simple, they're highly adaptable and live in most climates (diff sub-species).

although I may have time to squeeze one more short book in before the new year, at the pace I'm devouring this.

It's really cool to see so many new advancements focusing on more mechanical action, for lack of a better term. Building specialized 'machines' rather than more traditional drugs that are easier for bugs to adapt to.

Curious, what happens to the nanogel afterwards?
