In some areas the library authority uses BorrowBox as a platform rather than Libby. Our taxes pay for the library service (though not nearly enough..) so make use of these services for magazines, ebooks and audiobooks. #savelibraries #TheArchers

Committee which I also belong to and quite frankly the original minutes were appalling and v negative.

I fear that I will be asked to take over minute taking this evening as I “feel so strongly” about them…..

When I left work I decided that I would not volunteer to take minutes for any meeting in a regular meeting. I’m going to a meeting tonight and the last person to take the minutes did so with weaponised incompetence. I sent a lengthy list of “suggested alternative phrasing”

Didn’t know they still made Vosene! I really liked Linco Beer shampoo in my teens and twenties for the smell and cute cask.

IIRC she went to Felpersham Uni (Helen went Harper Adams - now a Uni). Think Pip was going to go to South America after graduating but bottled out. #TheArchers

However, Adam was fulltime. With Helen having to spend more time in the dairy after (full-time) Clarrie was let go, not to mention occasionally covering in the tearoom, I just don’t see how they can cover all the Bridge Farm workload with a zero hours contract #TheArchers

However his wife is a GP. Sometimes one partner in a couple chooses to earn less in order to have better work-life balance / take on caring responsibilities. If it would mean Akram abandons his dreams of returning to Pakistan and feel fulfilled in his daily work, he and Azra should talk
