A: Yes! The 2026 Primary Election is a “split primary,” meaning that Democrats and Republicans vote on separate machines in separate areas of the polling location HCDP pushed for a joint Primary— like in 2024 — but HCGOP’s insistence on a split primary is causing confusion at the polls and higher costs for taxpayers
