My area is super con too, which is surprising because we’re an auto manufacturing city and conservative policies have attempted to work around unions for generations. But so many workers don’t realize how their votes mess with their work.
It’s a shame Bonnie Crombie didn’t win, but independents rarely win and she did well considering.
I wish I could say it was only the cons but liberals do it too. For instance Mark Carney, he isn’t from his riding but got put in the position.
