Went to Lory State Park today to read a book. Threw in a short hike, and some of the small parks around Horsetooth Reservoir on my way home.

Got my first ballot in the mail, and just filled it out. 😮 Feels like a take home test with no pressure whatsoever. Don't have to hope I filled out my cheat sheet right, no lines, and no cubicles.... everywhere should do this, honestly!

Still some autumn colors out here. The leaves haven't all fallen yet.

Heh, guess I haven't really posted much over here the last few months. I did finally make the move out to Northern Colorado, and it's exactly what my soul needed. The biking, the hiking, the slower pace. I don't miss tall buildings.

I hated the tires I had on my bike for over a year, but I finally burnt through them enough to justify getting some new ones. Really liking the Panaracer X1 I just put on, so went for some exploring. There's a perfectly good bike path on the other side of the tracks, but that's no fun.

Where to next?

How do we get this to stop? What are people walking/rolling supposed to do? Bump into traffic to get across the road? Can we band right-on-red already? #austintx
