Somehow, newer pokemon generations don't vibe with me at all, design-wise... I liked the first three gens. Afterwards, most of the designs were hit-or-miss - a couple good ones and a ton of bad ones... Yes, I don't like the latest starters ಠ_ಠ

How I arrived on BlueSky:

I wanted to support Vivienne Medrano. Everyone was talking about how terrible "Hazbin Hotel" is, so I gave it a watch and... well, it's not as terrible. Season 2 is best so far in my opinion. Can't wait to see Season 3!

I ended up liking BlueSky and left X behind :3

I couldn't get Affinity to work with CrossOver... Don't know why. They say text tools will be fixed in the next major Krita update. I hope that's true...

I'm on Debian and use Krita. It's a good replacement for Photoshop to me, but some of the features are hidden and you really need to burrow into the software to find them (like on-canvas text field scaling, which you enable in tool options via "scale styles" tickbox. Mega-unintuitive!)

Right to the mood. Two of my best friends had a heated argument today and one of them left... Hopefully he'll come back 🙁

Decided to change my avatar again... I think Alytta-Alva is more in line with how I feel if I put all of my aspects together :3

Woman on woman violence is also quite prevalent on the internet (and beyond). I think it's not about men or women, it's about dishonest personalities in general... People find agreeing to disagree incredibly hard. Probably it's because humans are still just territorial animals :3

I drew this one during deep personal crisis. Everything I trusted was crumbling in front of my eyes as they opened to see the deception coming from people I trusted the most. Going insane from those realizations I only wished for revenge. Circa 2019.

Back in 2007 gift art was kinda normal to do. Nowadays people react strangely and to be honest it's near to impossible to find art friends anymore because they black list you or otherwise hate you if you upset them even once... Even if you meant well or happened to vent, or were through hard times..

Here feels more humane, for the lack of better word... more alive and less corporate :3

It's still wild to me, though... I totally understand the unholy amount of suggestive fanart for Hazbin Hotel, but Sonic?.. Whyyyy?!😂

However, when I was browsing Sonic fanart today, I realized that nothing has changed through the years and fans keep on shipping characters out of whack, while I now prefer canonical pairings only... Can't blame them. As long as they don't whine that their ship isn't official.

I just put myself through a dive into the Sonic fandom again. I used to be a huge fan of the blue hedgehog before his was totally babified back in 2003... but the loving memory lives on. I want to draw in that style again, actually, so maybe there will be some Sonic-styled art on here in the future.

Probably it's because they were a newbie artist? I don't know... but I now have a reason to never trade with art newbs ever again. They probably feel that no matter what they draw it won't be enough for me and just give up? Or maybe they just farm me for free art... No more freebies for those people

I've noticed someone mention art trades in notifications today. Man, when was the last time I myself had a good art trade... More than a DECADE ago... The most recent time I tried was a couple years ago and the person I made a picture for ran away with it never doing their part of the trade... 😢

Doodles I've been doing recently in my notepad... These are usually drawn almost without helping lines, so it's a fun artistic challenge. Guess I'll be doing more of those in the near future...
