In my experience, even people born back as far as ~2000 donβt have any legit political memory before the Trump era started and donβt understand just how out of pocket the last decade has been.
The problem that I'm running into debating people on the internet is finding out that the people's who im debating were born in 2008 and legit dont have any historic political memory before 2020.

Wars are extremely hard things to justify. It is intrinsic to what they are that they tend to death, destruction, and misery. Given this and some knowledge of history, one's default attitude towards powerful people purporting to do the world some great benefit by war should be extreme scepticism.
