Almost got a perfect pic of this eagle today. Flew right overhead, then I lost them.
Epilogue: I replaced my camera and was gifted another opportunity
I think I really captured his majesty as he surveys his vast kingdom
I missed 3 days of school in 8th grade because it was raining and my Dad couldnβt release the homing pigeons.
He knew I didnβt have my good camera with me and was just taunting me like this. Jerk.
Did a short Q&A with my alma mater WPI on my role in Artemis II. Wrote this before yesterdayβs announcement on Artemis III. Always in motion is the future.

Not sure Iβve ever been on a more challenging hike. Gorgeous, but I need new hips now.
I love that on a random ass Thursday in February I can get a Go Birds at Zion National Park.
Yep. Hiking The Narrows tomorrow.
With Artemis II pushed back, I decided to take a little time off. First time Iβve ever travelled solo.
Ok, settle down Mike Tirico
Looking like Michkov took another bad penalty
Are we sure Norway didnβt do that?
My favorite part of the medal ceremony. Wouldβve been great to see one player rage out, rip its head off, and eat it.
How could you ever opt to not have NHL players in the Olympics?
Thank you! Folks should follow the reporters for news. Iβm not allowed to break news, but Iβm always happy to answer questions.
Ready to go.
Looks like Iβve got plans for early March.
I guess Iβm the bad guy for encouraging my kids to enjoy their summers because they have the rest of their lives to work.
Best part of working nights this week has been getting to watch Olympic hockey during the day. Helluva comeback.
I really have no idea. Not my area of expertise, nor do I have any experience there. Iβm more of an inside the spacecraft kinda guy
Well, my 2 shifts for Wet Dress Rehearsal 2 are done. Now, just have to wait and seeβ¦
Primary role of every member of Artemis team each day is to answer the question - how do I make this work? With whatever you have or whatever you can find or whatever you donβt have or whatever problem there is. Iβve made plenty of inelegant decisions. Just wait til you see the duct tape at landing
I can appreciate that. Know that rank & file making it work are not out there saying we want to enable commerce. Weβre figuring out how to make it work. Exploration is for everyone. While we need a framework for where weβre going, we need to be successful in these 1st steps to even debate next step
Appreciate the kind words here, especially as Iβm about to head in for another overnight shift. Cross your fingers.

Peacock does a story on Norwayβs Olympic success & says takeaway is kids need to get out & play when it was clear that real takeaway is Government making resources available to kids regardless of income level, making it national priority for kids to participate in sport & through that stay healthy
Thatβs fantastic
Iβd like to speak with them; we may be able to collaborate.
Yesterday morning kids were sent running from their bus stop in panic because ICE showed up. This guy at todayβs ICE Out of Lindenwold protest is a must watch π. @maddow.bsky.social
