Peter David was the greatest Hulk writer of all time.
He is the reason why that character went from one of my favorite characters as a kid to one of my favorite characters of all time.
Second only to Superman. Equal to Batman.
Because of PAD.
RIP. You will be missed.
Here is a Good Peter David Story (click for the thread).
Very sad learning of the passing of Peter David. Whenever you saw his name on a book, be it comic or prose, you knew you were in for a good time.
I remember geeking out so hard meeting him at DragonCon 2006 (while his daughter hid under the table).
Deepest condolences to his friends and family. -J
Writer Peter David at a book signing at Midtown Comics in New York
Official confirmation from his family that Peter David has passed away after a long illness. Tremendous writer, incredible talent. Sending my deepest condolences to his family and friends.
And we did end up talking about that Elvira comic with our good friend @davallone.bsky.social, who writes his own rather good Elvira comics on occasion!

Really was the craziest damn day. Earlier that morning we’d been RTed by @therealelvira.bsky.social, which I’m pretty sure is how all this started.

What unproduced script for a major IP (Superman Lives, Cameron’s Spider-Man, etc) would you like to see made as an animated film?

Rogue and Nightwing travel above the rooftops.
Batgirl and Gambit are confronted by a mind-controlled Wolverine.
My friend @jeansinclairarts.bsky.social drew a Rogue/Nightwing crossover, so I challenged another friend, Carl Howard, to draw a response piece with Batgirl and Gambit. Can we keep this going?
Remember that time in the 1970s when Marvel UK ran out of PLANET OF THE APES strips to reprint so reprinted Killraven/War of the Worlds comics instead, renamed Killraven "Apeslayer" and redrew ape heads on all the villains. Yes this really happened. Herb Trimpe covers (with substantial changes!).
"Make Me Watch It" revels in #Halloween theatrics with special guest @tlawson.bsky.social of the @tombofideas.bsky.social podcast to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of PHANTOM OF THE PARADISE. We also talk THE WILD ROBOT, THE SHADOW STRAYS, & ROCK 'N' ROLL HIGH SCHOOL

“Vant to make someting of eet?”
Sorry, Tomb-Believers!
Because both of us will be out of town this weekend, we’re afraid that this week’s episode of the show looking at the 2022 crossover DARK WEB will be delayed until sometime next week.
This is a two man operation and somehow our schedules just seemed to align like that.
Apologies, folks, but can the person who messaged us about appearing in the Dark Web episodes do so again? I’m having trouble finding your message.
