Indeed. I had 10 great years on X, and a couple of thousand followers. Stopped using it in 2024, and deleted my account a year ago. Even then it had become such a cesspit it was difficult to see why anybody felt they should stay. Sad to see what it turned into, but no regrets about leaving.
