Knifewear knows that all individuals possess inherent worth and dignity, regardless of their beliefs or circumstances. Everyone deserves to shape their lives and achieve their full potential without harassment. We will always support vulnerable people, and few groups need our support more right now than our Trans friends and family. Because revolutions begin in the kitchen, our protest tea towel features a beautiful design by Calgary artist Mike Hooves of a fiercely fabulous Audubon-style flamingo wielding a Masashi gyuto. Use it to dry dishes, grab hot pot handles, clean up spills, and grab on the way out the door to a protest to show your values, clear as day. Be Fierce and Fabulous out there. These are the best tea towels in the world, and not just because of their design. They’re masterfully woven in France using long-combed cotton - in plain English, it makes them super soft, incredibly absorbent, and they last forever. They’re pretty stiff when new, but give them a wash and they soften up beautifully. Once you use one, you’re spoiled for life.
Knifewear donates 50% of sharpening proceeds, over $1.5 Million to date, to local charities and emergency relief funds. 100% of the money received from sale of these Knifewear-exclusive kitchen towels will be donated to Trans-affirming organizations like Calgary’s Skipping Stone. We don’t just sharpen knives, we Sharpen Our Communities, improving the places and people where we and our shops intersect.

.@parkdalefoodcentre.bsky.social could use your help (as always), especially with some non-food things like toiletries and, especially especially, $$$.

That's a good question! It's hard to say, if you can email us at hello @knifewear.com with some photos, we can figure it out!
Interesting! I've got zero experience with those stones unfortunately, but haven't had any issue with Japanese Waterstones on those knives.
I'm guessing the micro chips weren't present before sharpening?
Sorry for the slow reply! What do you mean by ripped?
Need some knives sharpened?
