thanks!
thanks!
thank you!
it was fun working on a lower resolution than my last attempt, although sadly some words did not get to keep all of their letters. there's only so much you can squeeze into that amount of pixels, even with a 3-pixel wide font.
photo of custom pixel art magic the gathering tokens in a style similar to the gameboy color. there are 26 different ones.
finally got my custom mtg tokens printed!
I think a note is fine unless you really want to have five versions
a little velociraptor, very feathered, pinkish red, in the style of a gameboy sprite with four colors including transparency
starting the day with a little gameboy-style raptor
to all my mutuals, I'm sorry I haven't played your games yet, they all look really good but I haven't been gaming much and when I do it's the same handful of comfort games from the 90s that I have already played for thousands of hours each.
I think I need to step away from trying to make games for a bit.
are we even sure "people" wrote it
I got 43.5, and I'm colorblind.
I think this wasn't meant for artists. We are used to concepts like hue, saturation and brightness and can use that to take mental notes when seeing a color that the average person probably won't think to take.
Either that or it's just easy.
progressed on the new thing. feeling less optimistic. π₯²
cool as hell!
told a friend I was working on a new game and he asked "what does the dragon do in this one?". I answered his question, and then I realized that I hadn't said anything about this being about a dragon. I'm just that predictable I guess.
Cool! It's definitely my least favorite out of the six, but the series as a whole is by far my favorite book series.
contrary to the advertising, sonic 1 was not a game about going fast, and I kinda love that about it
are you re-reading it or is this your first time?
started a new thing. feeling optimistic. looking forward to sharing it eventually!
it's a good shtick
Eh, nevermind. Maybe it's not as popular as I thought!
very cool! I love how much personality it has
Pixel art rendering of a MTG-style token card, a 4/4 dragon creature. The dragon is orange and is in front of a volcanic red background. Everything in a style reminiscent of a Game Boy Color game.
Pixel art rendering of a MTG-style token card, an 8/8 kraken creature. The kraken is purple and is in front of a blue ocean background. Everything in a style reminiscent of a Game Boy Color game.
(it was magic the gathering tokens, by the way)
finally made enough money to earn a couple months of not having to worry about having enough money in the next couple of months. then unexpected expenses came up and I'm back to not having any savings. π
I was gonna say, I think you're enough of a nerd that you can figure out a non-beginner friendly build if it sounds fun enough to you. Horse seems fun.
gonna delete this because i just noticed a typo lmao
lovely!!
I believe Warlocked does that, both factions can get a dragon that is larger than all the other units, and I think are the only flying units in the game. but between dragons, warships and so on, there's plenty of flavors of big flying guys!
duuuuuude. Big dragon. Hell yeah.
(if you make all big units flying units, then you don't have to worry about pathfinding!!!)
Haven't officially started a new project but I messed around with a different way of doing dungeon generation and it turned out great. Three months ago I wouldn't have known where to start with something like this, and this time I just sat down and did it in a few hours. Learning rocks.
Happy birthday! I turn 32 tomorrow. I don't know why that's a cool number but I am glad that it is one.
It wasn't as fun as I thought it would be, and the problems were too ingrained into the core gameplay for them to be fixable without reworking everything from the ground up with new an entirely new concept.
