ohhh it was fantastic... the room of her paintings at the end is what stuck out to me, i just loved them. very strange and sad and lovely. i think they were loveful

oh she's wonderful, she's wonderful. i picked up the anthology i'm reading because i saw it was edited by her, "The Norton Book of Science Fiction, North American Sci-Fi of 1960-1990"

for short stories i could recommend tonss but they're so hard to find online!! i'll have to think about it... for just sci fi authors i've been loving in this vein i think of, Ursula LeGuin's Left Hand of Darkness and City of Illusions are great. Stanislaw Lem is also great

i am reading a lot of old science fiction short stories again, which means i am having notions again like "what am I doing drawing pictures when this is the only worthwhile art form?!"
