We need to pass a House rule or law that requires them to work a certain number of days to get paid. Since Mike Johnson took over these people hardly ever work. When they finally come back after weeks off they work 2 days and he sends them home for 2 more weeks. It’s ridiculous.
As it should be. For years now, the Republicans have had poor policies, most of which have supported corporations and the rich at the expense of everything else. This is not sustainable in the long term. So now they focus on ways to suppress voting and gerrymander their way to wins. Pathetic.
This must happen. Lack of broad support cost Hillary and Kamala their elections that led to this mess. So let’s do it right this time—and that starts with the Democratic Party.
