That’s a yikes 😱. Can say I’ve been pretty hard to tan until I moved to Denmark. So like spring time comes around and I can actually tolerate the levels of heat and get browner. But when I lived in Texas I was definitely indoors 24/7 🫥

That stated I think the sentiment that it’s culturally driven is kinda weak tbh. Family being eroded has way more to do with cost of living and support imo
