haha that Train Dreams is one of the few movies you watched is kind of funny. But yeah, I agree. It was just a movie about living life and that's why I think it worked so well.

Tweet-length review of undertone: ever want to watch a movie that simulates the experience of an elephant slowly lowering its leg on your chest for an hour and a half? Then this is the movie for you.
No lie I was absolutely stunned at how gorgeous Train Dreams was. Movie aside (and itβs real good), it was just stunning visually. Have no idea why. Itβs not like βoutdoorsβ is a little-used location for filming, but here we are.
Yeah. It would go over very poorly in the room.
Was gonna splurge on a Blu Ray box set of 15 Hitchcock movies but it noticed it didnβt have Dial M For Murder, Notorious, The 39 Steps, or Gaslight? Whatβs the use?
kind of agree but it wont happen so i'm not even gonna bother
he's also been probably MTL's best penalty killer this year, so I'm not sure I would do that
I just mentioned got someone else but the problem is given the PK roles, the only guys that can be scratched for Texier are Gallagher, Newhook, and Bolduc. The first two arenβt getting scratched, and the Bolduc like is playing well, so here we are.
not really. I do prospect research in the offseason then once the season starts I basically don't bother. Just too much to do on the NHL side of things and few prospects have a mid-season impact for me to worry about it for my work.
that's the balance between depth and logjam, I guess. Nice to have it when injuries hit. I don't know who'd scratch, but it's not Texier. Probably Newhook, but they won't do it, so here we are.
something like
Caufield-Suzuki-Texier
Slaf - Kapanen - Demidov
Dach - Evans - Bolduc
Gallagher - Danault - Anderson
given the PK roles, the only players that can realistically be scratched for Texier are Bolduc, Gallagher, and Newhook. Gally isn't getting scratched and neither is Newhook, so

Alex Texier is a healthy scratch again

chart that shows the duo of Michael Misa and William Eklund being on the ice for 8% more goals for per 60 minutes at 5-on-5 than the league average, and 7% fewer expected goals against per 60 minutes
also, him and Misa seem to be finding some chemistry together and having a genuinely good second scoring line comprised mostly of their younger players feels like a big deal for the Sharks
I don't know how many times I've watched that Eklund goal, but it's a lot.

God Iβm so jealous
Imagine being in an outdoor arena, bright sunshine, couple jugs of ale, and watching jousting. Just two people racing horses at each other and ramming giant sticks into their chests. Man that would rule.
well then!
not watching b/c i'm watching SJ/BOS, but, uh, are the Caps ok?

Holy sweet Jesus Jacob Fowler. That last minute is a Canadiens heritage moment.
Well he played one game since the injury and it was on the fourth line. Like, he missed a few games before the Olympics then they came back and it was βno, we donβt remember December and January at allβ
I dunno man. I get plenty of things wrong about players every season but I never, ever understood why Texier lost his spot on the top line. There was nothing, absolutely nothing, to indicate it was necessary whether by watching him or looking at almost any relevant data. It was genuinely bewildering
