I killed this guy in an alley and he was a witness and instead of turning me in to the coppers he asked me to be his assassin apprentice. It seemed like a good thing, free room and board and all the food I could ever want. Well, it turned out that he and I had this one night stand a few years prior and gods, the chemistry didn't go away in all that time. Things have been getting pretty hot and heavy between us but he's been through some shit he can't talk about and I think it's affecting him. Like he's not thinking rationally and he keeps making some pretty dangerous mistakes (like he threw a dagger at my head after getting blackout drunk). I don't know. I think I'm falling for him but he needs to work on himself and I told him as much. It's not like I'm going anywhere. I'm still his apprentice, but he took it really hard. So what do you think? AITA?
I just think he needs to focus on himself, maybe get some therapy. I'll help him however I can though.
