Digital painting of a sunrise sky: long, fuzzy, pink and purple clouds stretching out into the blue sky, with diffuse morning light reaching from underneath.
We report: the sun is rising earlier still, but we do not feel as exhausted in the morning light as we did a few weeks ago. There are minuscule leaves sprouting from a branch outside of the kitchen window, and we watch them unfurl with disproportionate intensity.
We deserve better. We deserve peace. We deserve to prosper.
I have been wanting to re-watch WarGames recently.

Pink hyacinth flowers.
Enchanted by the blossoms.

I know this song, and I am not Canadian (but definitely weird).
Hermann Hesse:
"It may be important to great thinkers to examine the world, to explain & despise it. But I think it is only important to love the world, not to despise it, not for us to hate each other, but to be able to regard the world and ourselves & all beings with love, admiration & respect."
Two Bluesky posts, the one on top contains the headline "Radioactive Paint Brightens Home" and the one below contains the text from Moby Dick, "they all glowed."
Amusing timeline synchronicity.
All was fed to the fire to maintain their grand illusion until the world came down to one rapt psychopath beneath a smoke filled sky.
Exuberantly fantastical palace designed in 1597 by Hans Vredeman de Vries of Leeuwarden, Amsterdam, Antwerp, Danzig, Hamburg, Prague, etc. etc.

Technically speaking, isn't not arresting the Americans mentioned in the Epstein files a violation of every other American's Constitutional rights? Or am I stretching the equal protection clause too thinly?
We're so brainwashed by capitalism to only think of growth and "more" that we never consider when we have enough or are doing enough. Questioning the growth imperative and cultivating a sense of enoughness can be deeply freeing and helps engender a mindset focused on solidarity and care.

This is Lil Cat.
She’s in Mendocino. A little shy. VERY sweet. 8 years old. And was well loved.
Can anyone give her a soft spot to land?
That face!
If not, can you share?

I highly recommend the book Attensity! It is a quick, but profound read. It has me excited to do a little attention liberation work on my own, and to work with others about the same.

"The extreme form of this process is to be found in our contemporary mass media, where there never was an original, things being conceived from the start in terms of their unlimited reproducibility."

I love my country’s wildlife 🇲🇽🌿✨
Morning sunlight illuminates the branches and fresh blossoms of a Bradford pear tree.
Glorious morning after a spell of dreary Winter weather. Were I able, I would bottle this morning, and sip from it in the rain predicted for next week.
Power isn't subtle in this particular refrain of history.

love to live in a fully automated inequally distributed post-postmodern death drive fever dream that also sometimes gets symptomatic moments of vertiginous beauty and pathos
What a superb owl! Perky pre-Colombian finial.
"So, there is no longer striking, nor work, but both simultaneously, that is to say something else: a magic of work, a trompel'oeil, a scenodrama (so as not to say a melodrama) of production, a collective dramaturgy on the empty stage of the social."
