Spotted several Yellow-rumped Warblers right outside my apartment! Took these photos through my home office window! According to CLO, Yellow-rumped Warblers don’t breed in MS, but I put out a few clumps of raw wool just in case. If they don’t use it, other birds will! πŸͺΊ

If you are willing to participate, I am including a link to a Google Form to spotlight a scientist or two a week. It will be a quick, name, what do you study, advice for a middle schooler and asking for a pic so they can see. Totally volunteer. https://forms.gle/ka3GTEVihzpsKJpp7

A call for questions to my "ask a marine biologist" column

I write an "ask a marine biologist" column for SCUBA Diving Magazine. If you have questions about the ocean, animals that live there, or people who work to study or protect them, ask and I may answer in a future column! Please re-skeet or otherwise share! πŸ§ͺπŸ¦‘
