After a couple of lovely, but busy, weekends I'm enjoying a much quieter one this week. Relaxing with a glass of red wine for #ConfinedCocktails.

I’m searching for the original and/or rights owner of this fabulous picture of Birmingham in the early 1970s. It popped up on my Instagram feed, but I’ve been unable to track it down.

Any leads? I’m really hoping to use it in a book.

Started the day with a #TeaUp fail. Split it all over myself and the sofa (thankfully it had cooled at this point and I'd drank half the cup).

I'm not going to be able to make Saturday. I've had two busy weekends and need one with minimal commitments.
Hope you both have a fab time. It would be great to meet up another time.

I have literally just written 'blah blah blah something about stable file formats' in the document I'm working on. This is indicative of my day and possibly an indication that it's almost home time!
(Tbf it's also highlighted in yellow as a placeholder for me to amend at a later stage).

Very lovely. Great choice of venue, and yes we should definitely do it again!

We support the Iranian people in their struggle against the brutal Regime.

Forgot my bag for this morning's #UnconfinedWalks. Tbh I don't really need it for a couple of miles round the block but I did feel like I was missing something.
Not sure what the portents for the day.

It's so hard all around. Thinking of you and all those involved.
Hope you all get some breathing space soon.

Currently enjoying #TeaUp after a walk and a couple of pints with a friend. We'll probably join #ConfinedCocktails later once we've eaten and rehydrated.

Sorry you can't make Berlin work this time. Glad you've got a reliable plan B though (and familiar places mean less pressure to fit everything in).
Sometimes it's better to accept something won't work than force yourself to stick to plans.

That's interesting. I like the lack of plastic packaging with Clipper tea. I'm not sure they have as much of a range if types as other brands.

Making my way home today. Had to change trains so took the opportunity for #UnconfinedWalks in a new place. Followed by a #TeaUp stop.

It's been a lovely weekend. Especially remembering to take time out of all the activities on offer to pause with tea and a book.
