I have lost approx 110lbs since Dec ‘23 and am now the weight I was in 1991. Lots of therapy & healing. Bought Levi’s off the rack today and they fit perfect.
It was a significant and emotional experience for me. First time in 30 yrs I didn’t have to go to big & tall store.

Most ppl after gummies & a 🥃, “I want Taco Bell!” My silly self: “pretty sure I have the stuff for 🥑 toast. Where’s the sharp knife?”

Stay tuned for part 2 where I decide a microwave apple crisp is a good idea!

Had an interesting & productive call with the EEOC about my experience at @webmd.com and my former manager. Let’s see what happens next.

The level your music trivia level needs to be at when your wife is a 27 yr music journo & your MiL is a former radio exec in Chi & Det is unattainable 😱

Joni built me a Build A Bear for 🎄 & when I press his paw Joni’s sweet little voice says “I love you, papa”.
Immediate waterworks.
Heart completely melted.
I woke up 🎄 morning owning zero teddy bears & now own the most priceless Build A Bear ever builded. ❤️🥹

Recognizing & healing from this & some childhood & other trauma is why I have lost 100lb in ‘24 w/o crazy diets or exercise.
I haven’t been this weight since 1992. So crazy but I am feeling better than I have in years.

Now that I am knocking on the door of 49, I realized ago that I never believed. the religion/god/jesus stuff. I realized it was the only unquestioned way to be away from my family. I went to bible college bc they didn’t want me going to a “secular” college and I had to get out of there.

Sounds like the password to get into a speakeasy. I like it.

I’ve had the basic idea for a story and plot for a few months and have been letting it percolate in my brain. Finally think I know how it ends and have it narrowed down to two choices for POV and how I want to write it. Writing it is the hard part now. #authors
