We've ordered the Immunohistochemistry and will get a refined diagnosis/prognosis in about a month. We've started him on Prednisolone tablets for now since the initial treatment is the same regardless of whether it's cancer or not. Thank you all so much for the help and well wishes this past month

another $$$ test. another month of wondering whether or not it's cancer. I hate this so much, I'm beyond depressed

He's starting a steroid for IBD. Small intestine biopsies have small lymphocytes, which is raising concern for small cell lymphoma. Immunohistochemistry is optional but will tell me whether or not i have roughly 2 years with him left

I feel so defeated

His endoscopy went well with no complications. They did find evidence of IBD or small cell lymphoma. I'll get results of the biopsies next week.
Thankfully, the procedure ended up being $3.6K as opposed to the 4.1K-5K estimate. I've updated my ko-fi goal:

But yeah after playing both on the switch2, i'm not concerned about performance (i WAS prior to the new console)
They're taking their time too by delaying it to 2027 (everyone thought it'd drop this yr) so I'm very hopeful for this title

I personally loved ZA so much and played it nonstop till I 100%'d it lol...No performance issues whatsoever. A lot of people hate on it because they're obsessed with nitpicking the way it looks but i'd say visually it's between ScVi and WiWa (There were some areas late game that were GORGEOUS though

ScVi was definitely supposed to be a switch 2 title because they run /perfectly/ on the console. Played on both and the difference is incredible. I have no doubt Winds/Waves will run well on this new console

I'll update once the biopsy results come in. I'm very nervous and hope it's IBD and not lymphoma. Idk. Trying not to think about it too much. Ultimately, we should be able to treat him and provide him with a good quality of life, regardless of the diagnosis. That's all that matters to me right now.

I've been able to put $1K towards the endoscopy so far, so I still owe 2.6K for it +about $900 for his previous appointment (GI panel+xrays). It's still a lot, but could have been worse.
