Told Chrissy about it later, and she thought they might have been following the ambulance and were mad that I impeded them. However, I assume if you’re following an ambulance in a hurry you are 1) also ignoring traffic laws and 2) following them to a hospital, not a cemetery.

They slammed on their brakes before making the turn, continuing to flip me off, point, and just generally flail, and then seemed to melt down entirely when I didn’t follow them and continued driving home from work instead.

Just so weird. Moral is.. be careful out there, I guess?

After said light turned green, they passed me, stopped at the next light, and put their car in reverse - nearly backing into me while I watched with a dumb “seriously?” smile on my face. Moving again, they turned on their blinker and gestured wildly to the graveyard drive ahead.

Keep thinking about a white Yaris that I’m pretty sure wanted me to pull over and fight them in a graveyard yesterday after I *checks notes* returned to the road after pulling over for an ambulance to pass? Maybe they thought I cut them off, but I was only like 20 yards from a red light anyway?

Things got a little better for Z but then kept getting worse. It was just time to ease his pain. I’ll miss that sweet little ball of handsome madness so much, as much as I miss all of our cats. Losing three in a year is crushing.

I’m really optimistic based on his blood work and x-ray. Hopefully we can get him back home real soon.

Zodiac’s eating less after developing a pretty severe UTI a couple weeks ago. His mood and behavior were ok until he started acting really ill today, so he’s being hospitalized while they give him fluids, ABX, and meds to increase his appetite. Send those good vibes for our affectionate boy.

Letting the pups out to potty is now both a flight AND safety risk (Barb fought/threw it before it fled to safety). I’m going to lose my mind.

Barbara went on a digging binge during the rainy weather last week (see pic), and despite my best efforts, Gummo has found three different escape routes under our fence since. The first time he was in our front yard & the second he was found by a neighbor. Today he was in a garage down the street.
