The White House has helped MAGA influencers escape the Middle East on a private jet while more than a million ordinary Americans are still trapped with no way out.
They’re mostly performing their parts now, sort of. But the same day that Trump started his Iran war, his VP, Chief of Staff, Pentagon policy lead, and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs were all trying to distance themselves from it.

There were def people in Washington who advised Trump not to do this, basically saying, "hes 90, hes had cancer twice, hes going to die soon anyway. Dont make him a martyr for the cause". He didnt listen.
Calling for Iranians to overthrow their rulers while we drop bombs on them is not a plan to get a nicer Iranian regime. It's just a cynical use of neoconservative bullshit that's likely to lead to more repression or anarchy, and a terrible, worse situation for Iranians Trump's claiming to help.
OFFS. When Iran tried to interefere in 2020, researchers caught them and called them out. Then the Benz-Weiss-Taibbi-Musk-Jordan-Trump axis labeled those researchers "censors" ... and set about defunding them and dismantling their organizations.
