An unexpected bright spot on an otherwise dismal day!!
Oh hey it’s my yearly “what the f*ck is wrong with everyone’s head today” day. Pretty sure every year it takes a little longer for me to figure it out.
It wouldn’t be hard to set MAGA on AMERICAN NEW YEAR FIRST! and see what happens

I shot photos for the Bill Belichick podcast and now all those photos of him smiling are all for naught. Sigh.
They all have crazy eyes.
This is the first time I’ve seen this word, it’s perfect.
They’re too busy being on their phones or violently arresting non-white kids for jumping turnstiles.
I’ve been in showbiz for 30 yrs, & I’m still amazed I can be talking to someone about the crappy sandwich they had for lunch 1 minute & the next they’re center stage in front of 200/20,000 people/on live TV. It’s less about being unable to pretend & more appreciating the ability to switch it on/off.
I’ve worked with The Muppets a bunch of times, and the talent involved there is stunning. They do it all over their heads without actually having a great view of what they’re doing, but even when you’re directly talking to them, they look you dead in the eyes. It’s amazing.
Every morning taking care of my mother post-stroke, I get her situated with breakfast and meds, then have a Monster, crush the can, shoot it, then figure out my day. #2
In 2023, my mother was diagnosed with her 3rd bout of cancer. Within the last months she’s had 2 strokes and a heart attack. I can go & stay for weeks at a time, but I can’t be there for everything…so I rely on her friends/neighbors to help out. These are some of the helpers.

My mother was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer about a year ago. It’s a recurrence of the cancer she had when she was in her 40s. It’s her 3rd go round-the 2 most recent being results of the 1st. Luckily, she’s also turning out to be a badass cancer killing machine & is responding to treatment.
I think that’s called “healthy.”
