SFF & Horror // M.J. Wilkinson was born in Wiltshire and now lives in London. He began writing as a child, but didn’t take it seriously until a long time after that. He enjoys reading and creating genre fiction of every sort, especially if it’s morbid.

AND HERE, DEAR READER, WE COME TO THE DENOUEMENT. THAT'S FRENCH FOR "SHOULD'VE ENDED FIVE PAGES AGO."
Made myself chuckle
They say the Inuit have 500 words for snow.
Presumably they don't have adjectives.
Went to my local library this morning to do a bit of research for my current book project and my goodness such a life-affirming space! There was an adult being taught to read on the next table, children enjoying story time, countless people taking out books. So grateful for our libraries ❤️
Respect for the truth comes close to being the basis for all morality. Something cannot emerge from nothing.
A novel's really not complete without one instance of the use of this word--in any of its forms.
Turns out that just saying "Freedom" over and over again doesn't actually make it real

I'm pretty sure Ray Bradbury said that staying up until 1am playing Stellaris is a vital part of the writing process #writing
Bought a laptop for playing video games on because I didn't already have enough things getting in the way of writing
"It's not going to do any good to land on Mars if we're stupid."

New project is always more fun than current project #writing
There's an irony in doing so to clear freezer space only to fill it back up with frozen stock
