like no joke. i'm very bad with huge sandbox games like this. there's a lot of micromanagement with all the different pokemon tasks and the fact there's MULTIPLE huge overworlds with different stuff to do.
not to mention i suck at the creative aspect of them.
been playing pokopia and i'm ngl this is very overwhelming. wasn't expecting the overworld to be this huge and also have this much stuff to do and also play very similarly to minecraft, another game i very much struggle with.
i say this because i somehow got two shiny lickitung in legends arceus last night from a single outbreak i was using just for restocking berries and a random shiny aipom, but all the duskull outbreaks i'm using to try and get an easier dusknoir just yield nothing.
also zero sign of cyndaquil.
the funny thing about people saying the new pokemon games "hand out shinies like candy", to me this only applies to when i'm NOT hunting for a specific one.
suddenly shinies don't exist anymore but only for whatever i'm hunting at the time lmao
yeah i'm literally the same, i have poor aim and lifting the ball is already a lot of effort for me so i gotta have the barriers up as well. plus it adds a different strat of getting a good bounce lol

My first Ghost Shiny on Switch 2! It feels so weird seeing this game have a good framerate AND it spawns so many more Pokémon at once, making shinies more likely to spawn.

well i finally beat all the quests in super kirby clash after all these years (both story mode and party quest) but i'm lowkey a little greedy and wanna get platinum on all the quests as well, and try and see if i can complete all the missions too lol

ngl re-watching a cartoon that's over 20 years old at this point that ran for nearly 10 years is a very interesting time capsule to see what was relevant back then for them to parody lol
