UK flag merging into EU stars
βIt felt like a bereavement.β The UK rushed out of the EU in January 2020. Ten years on, sluggish growth and shrinking trade have kept the question alive β was Brexit a mistake?
The rejoin movement is stirring again.

Hope is rising across East Anglia. Campaigners from Herts to Norfolk are back on the streets with Brexitometers, marches and a renewed push to move Britain closer to the EU...and it's happening across the country.
The 10-year anniversary could be a turning point.

Just talking to Caroline. Hope youβre all ok.
No, she couldn't really. Besides, she has a club to open...
Remember this is what Badenoch and Farage believe we should be doing.
President Trump demands unconditional surrender in respect of something his government insists is not a war.

War crimes update.
Constantine on the eve of battle in 312 - as a sign appears in the sky. His biographer said that Jesus visited Constantine in a dream that night, telling him to carry a cross into battle to ensure victory and further his imperial ambitions.
And still it goes onβ¦
US is not at war with Iran so its decision to sink a ship hundreds of miles from Iran, leading to the drowning of most onboard is...

Another completely predictable thing has just happened.
Perhaps something is going on. I hope so. As I said, there is no downside to taking action. Virtually the whole population would cheer the govt. on.
So the Secretary for war has taken the gloves off for anyone at war with the US. I hope American servicemen and women have taken note.
I suppose it may. But thatβs a pretty horrible thought.
But the Dow was over 50,000.
Nigel Farage, the front runner to be the next British Prime Minister, is meeting with President Trump today. Time to sink Keir Starmer's ghastly Chagos surrender deal for good. @Nigel_ Farage
Nigel Farage is meeting Trump today, and you just know that he's going to fight Britain's corner and spell out our sovereignty and not desperately suck up to.... oh no, wait... that's the other Nigel Farage... the one I dreamed about when I got food poisoning from a slice of lemon sponge cake.

Even the right-wing press is admitting it β Brexit hasnβt gone to plan. The Office for Budget Responsibility warned of a 4% GDP hit. The reality may be worse.
A decade after the referendum, Britain is rethinking its future in Europe.

If youβre not worried, you maybe should be.
This is what Farage and Badenoch support
It is appalling to reflect that the death of far right influencer Charlie Kirk precipitated an orgy of βnational mourningβ while the deaths of US servicemen in an illegal war barely even register.
They may have that self confidence. No reason why we should share it.
Important to seek clarity today on whether Home Office and No 10 will try to defend - or will now withdraw - a false+misleading claim applying settlement reforms to 2022-24 cohort saves Β£10bn
Not just overspinning lifetime saving in 30 years time
Gvt policy doesn't save maybe Β£8-10 billion of it!
Should also have said thank you, that is interesting context. I think someone given the privilege of being elected by the public should really not be doing any other jobs, save possibly others that are a public service, and not full time. Doctors and some others.
How is it possible that people think their audience is so stupid?
When I look across the British political landscape today, I see the corrupting influence of money distorting almost every facet of what should be service to us, the public.
Itβs so brazen, isnβt it?
Imagine thinking these people were on your sideβ¦
Imagine being in the media and letting all of this just slide.
Imagine them getting into power and just how fuckawful it would be for the country.
Itβs sickening.
And this is what Kemi Badenoch, Farage, and a host of right wing βcommentatorsβ would like us to participate in.
Every journalist who interviews Farage, or has an opportunity to question him should raise this as a public service. And Parliament should act immediately to ban it. No doubt Nigel would whine, but that would just help focus public attention. There are no downsides to taking action.
