They know the rules. They choose whether or not to follow them. But they definitely know the rules.
I think women should have rights, but... IS YOU, PAL
Your misogyny is way out in the open. It isn't lite at all.
Roosevelt's court-packing plan was right, and it's right now.
C'est tellement ça
One of the best of all time
It's just finger-to-the-wind, not based on any conviction.
Sex is immutable.
Lol, no.
The minds are plastic. The minds.
Like how brain dead and unable to READ do you have to be? I NEVER said it was about purity. I said it was about TRAUMA. I think some of you are just dumb. Just plain dumb. You think you're saying something feminist, but you're actually just a one-dimensional thinker.
And gfy. I was never talking about myself. Go tell Katie Johnson she has a "personal issue" since she can't have sexual relationships after being tied down and brutally raped by the now-president as her introduction to sex. And how fucking dare you weaponize therapy speak, you absolue ghoul.
That's YOUR experience of it. The girl it happened to is now a woman who cannot have sexual relationships. You don't get to determine its meaning for HER. And we're not talking about "virginity" as a purity concept. Some of you are so fucking stupid it beggars belief.
That person is unhinged. There's no point explaining yourself.
You are actually unhinged.
It's not about purity. It's about having an introduction to something already fraught in a manner that shatters your relationship to that thing before you could have a chance to have established a different and better relationship to it. It's particularly harmful to the prey to be predated this way.
Can you compare the relative harms of being raped when you've already had positive or any experiences of sex versus being raped before you had a sexual experience at all? You can't. I've watched her testimony. It was particularly destructive to HER. So it's relevant to me. Rape is rape to YOU.
So as a woman, I just disagree with you. Virginity is a stupid concept designed to control women and girls. But it matters that this was done to girls with no prior sexual experience and that they were particularly targeted for this degradation and abuse. It matters. And we don't have another term.
Please try to consider that the first sexual experience for girls and women is already wrought with fear of pain, violence and shame. Please also consider how particularly devastating it would be to have "sex" introduced in this violent manner. I'm not looking at it from a man's view but a girl's.
I'm a woman, and I strongly disagree with you. I think your point is understandable but misguided. That girl is now a woman who says she is unable to have sexual relationships as a result. A different introduction to sex might have changed that. It is world shattering as a first "sexual" experience.
It's not like saying that at all. If one has never had any sexual relations, it is particularly devastating to experience "sex" for the first time as a rape. You're not putting yourself in the child's shoes. While some fetishize virginity, others are thinking about the devastation to the child.
Hard disagree. It's relevant. Every rape is traumatic, but it's particularly traumatic to have "sex" introduced this way. And it's also relevant to their MO. They preyed on young girls because they were looking for virgins. We aren't cosigning what attends "virginity" to point it out.
"We'll continue to stand our ground." What a joke. When was he standing any ground?
Then why would this guy have supposed about detention centers what you didn't suppose about the prisons? People have known and been advocating against prison conditions, where slave labor is the standard, for a long time. Just you lot haven't.
Are any of you sanctimonious people aware of what conditions are like in an average American prison? Because a. it sounds like you're not and b. you haven't been at all up in arms about it, and I know it. That man was as ignorant as most of you STILL are.
That's already happening.
There are almost certainly at times people seeking to force their way in because women's pain arouses them, but it also involves a total lack of empathy for women's experiences and a reductionism that equates women's oppression to race discrimination principles, which is wrong and insulting to both.
Eminently understandable, always, why trans women might want their own spaces, but somehow inconceivable that women might need them, too? That's misogyny. It's overriding consent, and the whole point is to dominate and control. Nobody is pushing anyone out of society. Go to the mixed sex groups.
