I'm late to post about this but a few weeks ago I finally took my whole family to see MAYBE HAPPY ENDING. I'd loved it when I first saw it in late 2024, but this was the first chance we all had to see it (i.e., got snail mailed a discount code so it was finally affordable), and we all loved it.

At the Spliced Personality Substsck this week I reviewed BILLY PRESTON: THAT’S THE WAY GOD PLANNED IT.
"...this makes him a fascinating subject for a documentary. We find ourselves leaning in and looking closer, seeing the exuberance of the performance footage as..escape from his earthly torments.Music was his way of reaching the divine" @splicedpersonality.bsky.social open.substack.com/pub/splicedp...
So I'm hanging out a shingle in newsletter land. Two reviews a week. Seven bucks a month. As Alfred E. Neuman would say, "Cheap!" Details below.
Coming up on a month of the Spliced Personality Substack and I wanted to thank everyone who’s subscribed for helping me out. It means the world. If you haven’t checked it out yet, feel free to drop by and see if there’s anything here you’d like to let me put in your inbox.
