We're seeking the community's assistance locating a missing person. Amit Desai, 51, was last seen around 4pm at the Circle K at E. Franklin Street and N. Estes Drive. Investigators have concerns about his health. Call 911 if you see him or know where he is.

βAnother winter storm is forecast to move into the area late tonight and lasting into early Sunday morning.
We'll continue to share service and facility updates via email and on our website.

Our Public Works crews have been hard at work clearing snow from local roads. Some still have slick spots, and we expect wet surfaces to refreeze again overnight.
Many of our services return to normal tomorrow, while some will be on a delayed schedule.

While some roads are becoming passable, many are not. We expect travel conditions to deteriorate overnight as frigid temperatures move in and wet surfaces freeze.
Some Duke Energy customers are receiving fraudulent text messages that appear to be from them, claiming customers will be impacted by a scheduled power outage. The messages did not come from Duke Energy.
