Part of rescue is seeing things that can never be undone.. people say why do you do it? Can’t you just not go… well the answer is I could go about my day pretending the dogs like him don’t exist .

Update: he is moving to a foster that will be able to work with his behavior needs.
I can’t talk about his Case yet but I can tell you he’s Haunted me . His little body standing in inches of waste and the way he lived will always be burned in my mind.

Our medical fund has been completely depleted from the last 3 hell weeks. We need donations to fund this pull. Every dollar will help. We are running now. ❤️hold on sweet babies we are coming

They have no vet on staff at this rural shelter and these babies would have suffered all night: instead we run. We figure it out. One has maggots pouring out of every body part and likely won’t make it but we are going to fight like hell. So we need you.

I swore today I would say no. I am so tired from the last 2 weeks I honestly have nothing left but the funny thing about purpose is it doesn’t just show up randomly. The minute their plea hit my phone I said yes.

On his assessment with other dogs he was tolerant which earned him a “calm dogs recommended” title. It also lists him as medium energy and friendly/easy to remove from kennel. Please help this special boy before it’s too late.

I offered him more treats and he even ate out of my hand ❤️ and let me pet him. He is a gentle and kind boy who just needs a kind human’s touch. He loves treats and walks well on leash with slight pull. Super super squishy and cute. ADOPT SIMBA!!! 😇

Very well rounded dog who can sit and loose leash walk. She’s working on her skills with other dogs. Shelter is recommending no other dogs but I think with a proper introduction she will be okay. I think she’d be perfect for a variety of homes! Arrived at the shelter on October 6th as a stray.
