Garber's trip here in Dec also rubbed me the wrong way. seemed at best not the time (why make that the headline ahead of the final?) and at worst a strong arming tactic (do what we say so we don't take your team away)
After stadium MOU & show of good faith from the province, the idea that "no investor is interested in even 1% of the club" seems bizarre. the goalposts keep moving. sports teams & infrastructure have long payback periods in common. there's just something we don't know and it's bugging me 😓
