learning! Game 2 i got to do my thing, thankfully i just added more removal and dealt with the creatures trying to gain value off the sagas. Game 3 was a beautiful case of “Sometimes you don’t draw lands” which is unfortunate because this was a very fun matchup to play on equal footing.
non-land permanents of your opponents. Unfortunate first game where the opponent conceded on my dmg trigger so i dropped my hand and then he hit me with the “wait” and then was able to stay alive so i gave him the next turn and i was then locked down by the sagas- but that’s what the local is for
as a believe my sideboard is not well prepared for decks that put lots of big creatures into the grave, another hearse may be the call- going to test it out for a couple weeks.

this was a very cool deck that was based around setting up sagas and Glissa to control the
graveyard setup, reanimating the Bringer into Ardyn/ulamog/2 other boys was a quick GG. My deck also then did the same thing, not caring about what happened across the table got me to a turn 4 combo and finally game 3 was won by the spectacular Sunspine Lynx. This is a matchup i have to look into
which cleared out the board for me and i took a quick third game.

was really fun seeing a pioneer version of the new “living end” deck, and it also showed that pioneer can still absolutely be won by a deck that goes over your head and just wins on 4. with the perfect
out the first game with an insult on turn 4 to hit delirium. Game two the sideboard against me was 3 copies of ITFloodmaw two of the frog that gives stun counters and i saw all of them in this game, so i was overrun by turtles and frogs. This gave me more info and let me board in Reckless rage’s
been showing up decently well and combing off on 4/5 reliably with enough of the combo pieces being 2 playsets.

today marks 2 years since I started playing competitive magic. After years of casual play with friends, a Pioneer local on Halloween was what ignited my current passion. never would expected that it would’ve taken me across the country and introduced me to so many amazing people on my life.
