I've been sitting on it since rolling credits, and I don't want recency bias or the honeymoon phase to cloud my judgment but... I think Resident Evil Requiem might be my new favorite Resident Evil. It's always been RE4 and the original RE1 but Requiem did something for me that was indescribable...

I love when a game gives me seperation anxiety and post game depression at the same time. Let's me know I really loved it 🙃
