finally, it's important that i highlight that the use of this system doesn't mean a detachment from our community or our creativity - on the contrary, it empowers us to work on more involved/high effort projects while it handles our presence in this shitty attention economy
this all begs an important question

personally, i've noticed an improvement in both the work and my mental - for the rest of my long life i can waste less time getting upset on social media and more time creating music XP
the third branch is distribution
this is where uploads and posts are handled
this portion of 6OS is still underdeveloped, but we've started with our very own proprietary link hosting service for each song - here's an example :::

these generators are highly fluid and dynamic, allowing us to intervene at any stage to add our own contributions
not every song needs high-effort cover art, and not every song works with templates - this system adapts to any project's needs and automates the labor away
the second branch is the generators
this is where we create and render promo assets using a custom modular system in blenderβs python backend
think of them as blender templates that procedurally construct and render videos + images
new template permutations can also be made
the first branch is the database
this is where all assets and information lives
6OS uses a custom JSON data standard for this system - each song in the database is assigned an ID and JSON file containing metadata and asset paths for generator + distribution operations
at it's core, 6OS is made up of 3 main branches :::
the database, the generators and the distribution
these 3 work in unison to provide a top down workflow for managing songs, their art assets and the information we have on them
we simply make music and drop it in
having released music online as my career for 8 years now, one thing is very apparent - social media itself will consume your life and take away from what you want to be doing, which is making the music
6OS automates this labour away so we can spend more time in the studio
