Continuing that Necro book, trying out procedural inner pages - everything done in COPs:
- python expression in Font COP, to load a text from an online cookbook and break it into 20lines per page
- per "frame" randomization - discoloration, edge breakup, edge decoration, center decoration...etc
Yup - the usual - mesh and bones.
Fun new wip/exercise:
- full procedural modeling
- procedural pages system and book opening
- procedural skeleton and eye animation
- minimal manual keyframes and chops for secondary motion

Sure! Everything is based on Vray Toon shader - objects have custom line width which is varied with a noise float parameter. Crosshatch has a tri-planar map and is only mixed in the shadows. Most of the linework is from the toon shader itself but the main building has some lines painted in texture
Working on something new with obvious inspiration.
